The book of Acts is such a wonderful book and I’ve learned so much from reading it.  here are some of my favorite scriptures:

Acts 2:38

“repent and be baptized, every one of you, in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins.  And you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.

2:42

They devoted themselves to the apostles teaching and to the fellowship, to the breaking of bread and to prayer.

3:19

Repent, then, and turn to God, so that your sins may be wiped out, that times of refreshing may come from the Lord
